The Beginning of a Legacy

The rich history of Mach Global Power, through its predecessor organizations, spans almost half a century. In 1967, CEO Manoel Banawa has established his first office in Manila, Philippines and in Villa de Bacolor, Sta. Ines, Bacolor, Pampanga. Philippines. During his early years, CEO Manoel Banawa was able to acquire a stature of being the 7th Largest Tuna Exporter in the Philippines. As a trading company, the prowess and expertise in the export of marine products, particularly, fresh tuna and shrimps, including, guava, guava tea, mangoes and lumber products to Japan and Hong Kong led to the expansion of the business to the City of Sakai, Osaka, Japan in 1971.

While in Japan, CEO Manoel Banawa then ventured into the general trading organization in the importation of second-hand trucks, cars, and bulldozers. Awarded with an exclusivity distributor contract of a Japanese brand-name, agricultural machines such as tractors and farm implements, and, other heavy equipment were traded all over the Asia Pacific Region. Together with this momentum achievement, he also imported seafood products from Mexico, the United States, and the Philippines to Japan and the beginning of his legacy as a businessman found its roots.

Ever changing horizons…

In the United States, CEO Manoel Banawa explored the “land of the free” through a company he spearheaded, Eurobancapital of America, LLC headquartered in Beverly Hills, California, USA representative office in Osaka, Japan with and Eurobancapital of Asia in Hong Kong. In 1993, it established an Electric Resource Group, Inc. (“ERG”) and JAXOR Development Corporation (“JAXOR”) with American architects and engineers headquartered in Westwood, Los Angeles, California, USA. This synergism provided high-expertise in and in service of a myriad of industries. Namely: 

  • General Engineering and Development
  • Biomass
  • Waste Reprocessing-to-Energy
  • Alternative Energy
  • Coalplex and Coal-fired power plant integrated with Kenaf pulp processing
  • General Trade
  • Oil, Gas and other Oil Derivatives Trade; and,
  • Socio-economic and Cultural Activities

After this companies led the development of numerous successful businesses, the two companies merged and became Cherry Group Resources of America which was established in 1989, headquartered in San Diego, California, USA. Later, this merged with Eurobancapital of America which was established during the 1990’s in Los Angeles and in Sacramento, California, USA. This horizons also included its non-profit organization – the United California Economic Development Agency (UCEDA) in December 1989 which found its stronghold in Sacramento and Los Angeles, California, U.S.A. and worldwide.
